We’re looking for a Contract Recruiter to join the Talent Acquisition team at Grubhub! This role is based in either our NYC or Chicago office (hybrid model – 3 days per week onsite). You’ll thrive here if you’re comfortable in a fast-paced, flexible environment and passionate about building strong teams.
The Impact You Will Make
- Lead sourcing efforts to attract top talent across multiple skill sets, ensuring every candidate has a positive experience.
- Own the full-cycle recruiting process, helping multiple business units meet hiring goals, even in high-volume scenarios.
- Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines through creative and proactive sourcing strategies.
- Guide hiring managers through the interview process and share best practices for successful recruitment.
- Ensure compliance with all talent acquisition processes while delivering a seamless experience for both candidates and managers.
- Craft competitive employment offers aligned with company guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with partners across the People Team—including HRBPs, Compensation, Benefits, Learning & Development, and HRIS—to support the evolving needs of the business.
What You Bring to the Table
- 3 years of proven success recruiting and sourcing talent.
- Advanced Boolean search skills and experience using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, AI-driven sourcing platforms, and other technologies.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
- A track record of managing multiple requisitions and skill sets at once.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management abilities.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
