The Implementation Engineer plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by providing technical expertise and support to the Campus sales and client success teams. This position focuses on selling Grubhub's digital dining solutions to college campuses across the United States. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of campus dining dynamics, restaurant technology, and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. In this role, you will use your technical skills to:
- Explain scientific and technological products to potential customers. In tandem with a Sales Executive, they must interest the customer in buying Grubhub’s products, such as by giving a presentation to explain the technical aspects of a product and how it will solve a specific customer problem.
- Provide technical support or other services to customers. They may offer services as part of the product purchase or as a separate benefit. For example, they may offer technical support on the use, operation, or maintenance of equipment.
- Prepare and deliver presentations explaining technical products to existing and prospective customers
- Talk with customers, the sales team, and engineers to determine product needs and system requirements
- Provide customers with product sales support
- Work with sales teams to secure and renew orders
- Arrange for installation of products and delivery of services
- Plan and modify products or services to meet customer needs
- Provide support to help customers troubleshoot complex problems
- Recommend improved products or services to customers, showing how changes will lower costs or increase production
- Maintain document repository (PCI, network configuration, product set up, etc.)
- 5 years experience working collaboratively across multiple disciplines (product, operations, partnership management)
- Analytical and quantitative skills; in depth knowledge of network structures and software integration processes. Ability to use hard data and metrics to evaluate opportunities
- Skill at developing complex strategies and communicating them across organizations in an accessible way
- Strong ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and across functions including marketing, sales, operations, product and finance
- Collaborative leadership. Ability to be deeply curious, a great listener, with a passion for seeing things from different perspectives and navigating internal complexities
- Track record of of leading successful projects from ideation to completion
- Comfortable and passionate about dealing with ambiguity and blazing new trails
- Spreadsheet fluency, with the ability to build, understand and debate models
- Strong ability to present complex concepts to external stakeholders in a simple manner with confidence

Salary : $115,000 - $122,000
