We’re seeking an organized, detail-oriented Title Clerk to manage vehicle titling and registration for our dealership group. You’ll ensure every deal is processed accurately and in compliance with state requirements — protecting the store from penalties and keeping customers’ paperwork on track.

We’re seeking an organized, detail-oriented Title Clerk to manage vehicle titling and registration for our dealership group. You’ll ensure every deal is processed accurately and in compliance with state requirements — protecting the store from penalties and keeping customers’ paperwork on track.
What You’ll Do
- Process titles, registrations, and tax/title/license paperwork accurately on every new and used deal
- Submit and track title work with the state and lienholders, staying ahead of every deadline
- Verify accuracy and completeness of deal documentation before processing — catch problems early
- Maintain organized records and aggressively follow up on outstanding titles and missing documents
- Resolve title issues and communicate clearly with sales, customers, and lenders
- Process out-of-state and dealer-trade titles correctly and on time
- Ensure full compliance with Texas titling laws, fees, and timelines

- Titles processed accurately and within state timelines — no penalties or late fees
- Outstanding titles followed up relentlessly and cleared quickly
- Errors caught before submission, not after rejection
- Complete, compliant, audit-ready title records
- Clear communication that keeps deals and customers on track
- Automotive title clerk or DMV/registration experience strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of Texas titling and registration requirements a plus
- Familiarity with DMS platforms and general office software
- Highly organized, dependable, and deadline-driven
- Stable, office-based role within a respected accounting team
