We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for restoring properties affected by fire, water, mold, and other damages. The Restoration Technician plays a vital part in helping clients recover from property damage efficiently and professionally.
Duties
- Perform water damage restoration, including extraction and drying of affected areas
- Conduct fire restoration tasks such as debris removal and soot cleaning
- Execute mold remediation procedures following safety protocols
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, repair, and construction activities
- Assist with asbestos abatement projects ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Clean carpets and upholstery using specialized equipment
- Apply restoration techniques to restore properties to their pre-damage condition
- Document work performed and communicate progress to project managers
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout all restoration processes
Requirements
- Prior experience in the restoration industry is preferred, including fire, water, mold, or asbestos abatement
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of hand tools and power tools
- Experience with construction or demolition work is a plus
- Ability to operate specialized equipment for carpet cleaning and remediation tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license preferred; willingness to travel locally as needed
