Warehouse Packer/Shipper

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Packer/Shipper to join our team. This role involves preparing products for shipment, ensuring accurate packing, and maintaining organized warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be committed to quality, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment, supporting the overall logistics and distribution processes of the company.

Duties

• Pack products securely according to specified guidelines to prevent damage during transit
• Label packages accurately with shipping information and tracking details
• Assist in loading and unloading shipments using appropriate equipment
• Maintain organized storage areas for easy access and inventory management
• Perform quality checks to ensure all items meet company standards before shipping
• Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate with carriers for timely pickups
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace to promote a safe working environment
• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed

Qualifications

• Prior experience in warehousing, packing, or shipping is preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
• Basic knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and procedures
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus but not mandatory
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately
