The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in supporting the educational services sector by providing compassionate and skilled care to students and patients within educational healthcare settings. Minimum Qualifications:

• Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification recognized in the United States.


• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.


• Basic knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and common medical terminology.


• Ability to pass a background check and meet health screening requirements.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in educational or pediatric healthcare settings.


• Additional certifications such as CPR and First Aid.


• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.


• Bilingual abilities to support diverse student populations.


• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assist students and patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.


• Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health status to nursing and educational staff promptly.


• Maintain accurate and confidential records of care provided and observations made during shifts.


• Support the implementation of individualized care plans developed by nursing and educational professionals.


• Ensure cleanliness and safety of the care environment by following infection control protocols and safety guidelines.


• Communicate effectively with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote holistic care.


• Provide emotional support and encouragement to students and patients to foster a positive and supportive atmosphere.
