What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control - 3rd shift position at Growscape?
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily quality checks on all products in production and report results in writing to the Quality Manager and verbally to the Supervisors and Operators so action can be taken
- Report in writing, all action taken to improve quality.
- Performs simple filing as required
- Performs routine data entry (minimal)
- Physical testing of all products
- Review of packaging configurations
- Pre-ship quality audits
- Train others on quality
Qualifications:
Qualifications and Experience
- Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. of finished product.
- Computer skills: MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Mattec is a plus
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Good communication skills
- Must be a team player
- Exceptional understanding and/or willingness to learn the product line and identify all product defects
