What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR/Office Manager position at Growscape?
The HR/Office Manager is a business partner who supports the daily HR, accounting and operational needs of our manufacturing facility located in Sebring, FL. Reporting to the CHRO with dotted-line accountability to the Site Manager, this role ensures seamless operations by managing employee processes, recruiting & onboarding, and safety programs. As a key liaison between corporate and plant teams, the role fosters a positive workplace culture, supports supervisors and employees, and drives engagement initiatives to help our plant, and its people thrive.
Responsibilities:
- HR processes including attendance management, payroll reports, weekly shift coverage schedule and employee relations.
- Recruiting and onboarding
- Plant administrative and accounting support including accounts payable processes, ordering/managing supplies, supporting inventory cycle counting and tracking daily spending
- Plant culture and engagement
- Employee data management and reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred
- 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Prior experience supporting plant finance and accounting processes
- Familiarity with HRIS systems, such as Paycom, and timecard management systems
- Experience in talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee relations
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred
