Job Summary
Growing with Grace Preschool & Daycare is a Christian preschool dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. We are looking for a joyful, compassionate, and dependable Lead Teacher to join our team! We are seeking someone who has a genuine love for children and a passion for helping them learn while reflecting the love of Christ through kindness, patience, and everyday interactions.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities that promote children's social, emotional, cognitive, and motor development.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
- Foster a love of learning through hands-on exploration, play, and meaningful interactions.
- Maintain positive, professional communication with parents regarding their child's growth and daily experiences.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management while guiding children with patience, consistency, and encouragement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom that meets health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to provide the highest quality care and education.
- Observe and support each child's individual developmental needs while celebrating their progress.

Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with young children in a preschool, childcare, or early childhood education setting.
- A strong understanding of child development and a passion for creating engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
- The ability to plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports children's social, emotional, cognitive, and motor development.
- Strong classroom management skills with a patient, positive, and encouraging approach to guiding children's behavior.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to building positive relationships with families and coworkers.
- An organized, dependable individual who can maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment.
- The ability to meet the unique needs of each child and create an inclusive environment where every child can succeed.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. If you are not currently certified, we are happy to help you obtain the required training after hire.
- Experience working with children who have diverse learning needs is appreciated but not required.

Pay: $15.75 - $16.50 per hour
