About the Role
As a teacher at Growing Room, you'll have the opportunity to bring creativity and passion into your classroom every day. While we provide a weekly curriculum, we also encourage creative freedom and value your unique teaching approach.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that support children's developmental needs
- Create and manage a safe, welcoming classroom environment
- Support and monitor children’s growth through assessments and observation
- Maintain communication with families regarding progress and daily updates
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with special learning requirements
- Maintain valid First Aid and CPR certifications
What We're Looking For
- EEC Certification required for Lead Teacher roles
- Assistant roles available with high school diploma or GED
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
- A strong passion for working with young children and supporting their development
