Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curricula tailored to preschool and toddler-aged children
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Plan and execute daily lesson plans that align with educational standards and individual student needs.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's developmental progress and address individual needs or concerns.
- Support children with special education needs or early intervention programs to ensure inclusive participation.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance in compliance with licensing requirements.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, curriculum innovation, and classroom management best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings; preschool or daycare experience preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Certification or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is highly desirable; CDA credential is a plus.
- Passion for fostering a positive learning environment that promotes child welfare and development.
Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
