Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Licensed Professional Counselor (LMFT or LCSW also welcome) based in Houston, TX, with flexibility for partial remote work. Responsibilities include conducting individual and family therapy sessions, developing personalized treatment plans, providing hands-on meal support, and collaborating with multidisciplinary treatment teams to support client progress.
Qualifications
- Counseling and therapeutic skills, including experience with individual and family therapy
- Knowledge of eating disorder treatment and related modalities
- Strong communication, assessment, and crisis intervention abilities
- Collaborative skills to work effectively with interdisciplinary treatment teams
- Basic competency in documentation and familiarity with electronic health records
- Active LPC/LMFT/LCSW licensure in the state of Texas
- Compassionate, empathetic, and client-centered approach to therapy
- Previous experience working with eating disorders (1 year minimum)
