Job Title: Sr Test Engineer – Medical Device
Job Location: Lafayette, Colorado (Fully onsite)

Job Description:

Education Required: BSME minimum, Years’ Experience Required: 8
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, experience with test execution and data analysis, proficiency in relevant tools and software, excellent communication and reporting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively while adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Nice to have:
Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis tools, experience with automation or programming (e.g., Python, LabVIEW), familiarity with CAD design for test fixture development, prior exposure or medical device testing, and certifications in quality systems or testing standards (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ)
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.
Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management. Requires a University Degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
