What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spa Coordinator position at Grove Spa?
Grove Spa, an award-winning spa, has an exciting opportunity for 1 full-time and 2 part-time Spa Coordinator. We are a family-owned business in Springfield, Missouri. We are dedicated to providing a professional environment not only for our clients, but for our staff as well. Spa Coordinators are the heart of the organization and the face of the spa. They are the first and last person each client sees and speaks with and the client’s first and last impression for the spa.

Spa Coordinator Candidates Must Have:
- Availability: Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 8:30 pm and every other Saturday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with a combination of morning and evening shifts. We are open 1 - 2 Sunday per year - Mother's Day and Valentine's Day - should it fall on a Sunday.
- Must be able to work closing shift at least half of the week.
- A positive attitude
- Impeccable customer service and problem-solving skills
- Organized with the ability to schedule appointments & maximize schedules
- Basic computer skills
- Have an increased level of comfort in handling a high volume of phone calls
- Ability to multi-task
- Must be able to work calmly and quietly to provide a relaxing environment for all of our guests
- Ability to stand while working at the front desk and performing laundry and general cleaning tasks
- Have a certain degree of creativity and latitude
- Interest in the beauty, health & wellness industry
- Must be a team player, open minded, and a rule follower
- Background and Lab are required.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working as a receptionist or front desk staff
- Experience in customer service
- Some knowledge of massage and facial treatments a plus
- The ability to work a mixture of shifts- closing and Saturday shifts are required
- The ability to look and act professional at all times
