As a Room Attendant at the Grove Hotel, you’ll be the reason every guest feels at home — creating spotless, welcoming spaces with care and consistency.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize guest room bathrooms according to hotel cleanliness standards, using approved chemicals and protective equipment.
• Follow proper bed-making standards, including stripping or turning down beds as appropriate for check-outs and stay-overs.
• Empty trash, wipe all surfaces, clean refrigerators, and restock room amenities to ensure guest comfort.
• Reset room furniture and ensure correct placement of items such as hangers, curtains, pillows, nightstand supplies, TV accessories, and thermostats. 
• Report any maintenance concerns or damages to the supervisor promptly.
• Turn in all lost and found items with proper documentation to the supervisor. 
• Work efficiently and independently while maintaining the hotel’s cleanliness standards and brand image.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with professional and courteous demeanor.
• Ability to remain calm, friendly, and guest-focused in fast-paced environments.
• Responsible, dependable, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Must be team-oriented and willing to assist colleagues as needed.
• Ability to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time during shifts.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up 40 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums.
