Group C Media, Inc., a leading B2B media company, is seeking an energetic, strategic, and entrepreneurial National Sales Manager / Associate Publisher to drive revenue growth across our print, digital, event, and marketing service platforms. This role goes beyond sales — you will lead and mentor our sales team, manage key national accounts, and work closely with the President/Publisher to shape sales strategy, product development, and market positioning. For the right candidate, this position offers a clear path to Publisher.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a personal sales territory while leading a two-person sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Develop and execute national sales strategies for print, online, event sponsorships, and new marketing service offerings.
- Manage and grow relationships with key government organization accounts.
- Identify new revenue streams and product opportunities in collaboration with the leadership team.
- Represent Group C Media at industry trade shows and client meetings.
- Oversee accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record in national media sales (print, digital, and event sponsorships preferred).
- Demonstrated success leading a sales team and driving revenue growth.
- Entrepreneurial mindset — a self-starter who can identify opportunities and execute strategies.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (CRM experience a plus).
