Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of hotel linens, and towels,. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to providing a positive experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Fixed schedule, Tuesday, Wednesdays, Thursdays ,Saturday, and Sunday 8a starting time.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron hotel linens, towels, and guest clothing according to established procedures
- Inspect items for stains or damage and treat them appropriately
- Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines
Skills:
- Previous experience in a hotel or similar setting preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques for different fabrics
- Familiarity with operating commercial laundry equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
