Role Description

This is an on-site full-time role for a Litigation Associate at our Washington, D.C. location. The Litigation Associate will be responsible for performing legal research, drafting motions, conducting depositions, and representing clients in court. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as preparing legal documents, attending depositions, negotiating at mediations, participating in case strategy meetings, and brief writing.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law in any state
• Go-Getter Mindset - proactive, resourceful, and ready to take ownership of cases from day one.
• Passionate about Litigation - genuine enthusiasm for trial work and a strong commitment to advocating for clients.
• Organized & Detail Oriented - Ability to manage complex cases, deadlines, and competing priorites with precision.
• Strong Communicator - Excellent written and verbal advocacy skills, with the ability to connect effectively with clients, colleagues and the court.
• Quick Thinker - Comfortable analyzing issues on the spot, adapting strategy in real time, and handling the fast pace of litigation.
• Trial Ready Attitude - Excited to get into the courtroom immediately, with the confidence and drive to develop into a first-chair trial lawyer.

Pay

• Depending on qualifications and experience, salary can range from $100,000
