We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service in a dealership environment.
Pay is up to $43.50 Flat Rate with Toyota Certifications
Duties
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks.
- Diagnose automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems, including powertrain, electrical, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
- Align wheels and ensure proper vehicle handling characteristics.
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed on vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive service and repair is essential.
- Familiarity with dealership operations is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong skills in automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques are required.
- Experience in vehicle maintenance practices is necessary for success in this role.
- 2 years of experience in diagnosing and performing maintenance work on all makes and models of vehicles
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
- Pass a pre-employment background check and a drug screen for illegal substances
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Authorized to work in the United States
