Your ability to build relationships and understand customer needs will be key to your success in this role.
Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their vehicle needs and preferences.
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain vehicle features, benefits, and financing options.
- Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and maximize sales opportunities.
- Manage inventory control by keeping track of available vehicles and assisting in inventory management.
- Perform outbound sales activities including cold calling potential customers to generate leads.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Support sales initiatives by maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Exhibit strong phone etiquette when communicating with clients via phone or email.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve overall dealership goals.
Essential Job Duties
- Proven experience in retail sales or outbound sales is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Experience in inventory control and management is an advantage.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A passion for automobiles and knowledge of the automotive industry is desirable.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- You have 2 years of automotive sales experience
- Eligible to receive a Colorado salesperson license
- Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
- Authorized to work in the United States
