Position Overview: President, Groove Life
Groove Life, the flagship division of Groove Life Brands, is a maker of accessories looking for an experienced leader. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer and working closely with the Groove Life Brands Executive team, this role will be instrumental in driving the direction of the Groove Life brand.
The President of Groove Life plays a pivotal role in steering the division’s overall strategy, focusing on long-term value creation through omni-channel revenue growth, setting channel strategy, and leading creative direction. This position demands a dynamic leader who can integrate a deep understanding of the market, customer needs, and innovative approaches to lead the division’s growth and brand reputation.
Position Description:
- Strategic Leadership and Revenue Growth:
- Develop and implement strategies to grow Groove Life that align with the vision of Groove Life Brands.
- Oversee the divisional P&L, with a focus on long-term profitability.
- Collaborate with the executive team and other members of the senior leadership team to identify new market opportunities, expand into new territories, and enhance product offerings.
- Marketing and Brand Management:
- Develop and execute channel strategy that enables collaborative growth between DTC and Retail.
- Lead the DTC team to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Partner with the head of wholesale to establish meaningful relationships with retail accounts and external rep groups that enable increased revenue opportunities and brand growth.
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine channel strategy and increase market share.
- Creative Direction and Go-To-Market:
- Provide leadership in the creative development of promotional materials, website content, and advertising campaigns.
- Collaborate with product management to ensure a product roadmap that aligns with market trends and consumer preferences.
- Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the division.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across revenue, marketing, and creative departments.
- Establish and maintain a work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support professional development opportunities for team members.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role, with a proven track record in driving revenue growth and brand development.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent understanding of current marketing trends, digital media strategies, and consumer behavior.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience in the apparel and/or accessory industry is preferred.
- Expert in omni-channel strategy.
