Groome Industrial Service Group , headquartered in Denville, NJ, is a leading provider of specialty maintenance services across multiple industries including coal and natural gas-fired power generation, refineries, shipping, manufacturing, and aviation. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals in the Humble area to join our team as Explosive Technicians with CDL. This role involves traveling from our [humble location to power generation plants throughout the region, where you will receive training to de-slag large utility boilers using explosives.

Role Overview : As an Explosive Technician 2 with CDL, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to :
- Safely operating a vacuum truck, heavy equipment, or other company vehicles.
- Operating the vac truck / VecLoader, monitoring gauges and functions.
- Assisting with setup, inspecting equipment and vacuum hoses / connectors before, during, and after projects.
- Completing all related paperwork.
- Performing power washing, scaffolding, shoveling, explosive blasting, grinding, construction, demolition, and painting.
