Health/Employee Health Administrative Assistant supports the hospitals
Employee Health and Occupational Health programs by assisting with
employee health screenings, immunization tracking, regulatory
compliance, workers compensation administration, and employee wellness

and guidance of the Occupational/Employee Health Staff RN, and serves as

employee health records and ensuring compliance with applicable

**Employee Health Administration**
- Maintain confidential employee health files in accordance with HIPAA
- Assist with onboarding health requirements, including health
- Track employee compliance with mandatory vaccinations, TB testing,
- Schedule and coordinate employee health appointments and follow-up
- Monitor and maintain employee health databases and documentation
- Coordinate flu vaccination clinics and other employee health
- Assist with employee health screenings and educational programs.
- Assist with the administration and documentation of workplace injury
- In communication with the Occ Health RN, coordinate workers
- Manage employee return-to-work documentation and restrictions.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local
- Maintain OSHA and other regulatory records as assigned.
- Manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) as needed for proper
- Generate reports related to employee health compliance and program
- Support accreditation and regulatory surveys by providing required
**General Administrative Support**
- In consult with Occ Health RN, answer employee questions regarding
- Prepare correspondence, forms, and reports.
- Maintain inventory of employee health supplies and coordinate
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and electronic
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Effective interpersonal skills with employees, leaders, providers,
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Medical Assistant (MA) certification or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Experience in healthcare, employee health, occupational health,
- Knowledge of workers compensation, OSHA regulations, immunization
- Experience with electronic medical records and healthcare
