Ideally, you have a strong passion for people and the plant. This is an essential role that will work cross-functionally with our team and our clients. Job Summary:
The Facility Cleaning Technician is responsible for cleaning and preparing manufactured parts to meet quality standards. This role involves operating cleaning equipment, handling chemicals, and ensuring parts are free of contaminants.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain industrial parts washing equipment.
- Load and unload parts into washing machines.
- Mix and monitor cleaning solutions and chemicals.
- Inspect parts for cleanliness and quality.
- Document cleaning processes and maintain records.
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Clean floors, tables, bathrooms and other work areas
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Basic understanding of industrial cleaning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and chemical handling.
- Ability to pass a federal background check
- Ability to obtain a Missouri DCR issued Agent ID
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, and varying temperatures.
- Manufacturing floor environment.
- Exposure to industrial cleaning chemicals.
- May require working in shifts or overtime.
