EXPERIENCED CAREGIVER / HOME HEALTH AIDE – $16-$18

Location: Tunkhannock, PA 
Do you have the strength, skill, and heart to handle the tough cases? Griswold Home Care for NEPA is seeking experienced caregivers and home health aides who are confident, compassionate, and committed to handling more complex and demanding client situations. If you’ve cared for individuals with dementia, behavioral challenges, or advanced mobility needs—we want to hear from you.

Monday-Saturday, morning shift (4 hours per day)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide hands-on support with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Assist clients with behavioral or cognitive challenges, including dementia
• Deliver compassionate companionship and engagement
• Perform light housekeeping and ensure a safe, clean environment
• Act decisively and calmly during unexpected events or emergencies

QUALIFICATIONS

• 6 months of professional caregiving experience
• Experience with dementia or difficult client behaviors preferred
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle (preferred) - or - reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Two professional references
• Authorized to work in the United States
