Veterinary Technician – Join the Team at Grinnell Veterinary Clinic
Grinnell Veterinary Clinic is looking for a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated small animal practice. We are seeking a positive, self-motivated professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and is committed to providing exceptional patient care and client service.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting veterinarians during patient exams, medical procedures, surgeries, and dental procedures
- Rooming patients and obtaining medical histories
- Educating clients about pet health, treatments, and preventive care
- Safely and compassionately handling and restraining animals
- Maintaining accurate medical records and supporting daily clinic operations
Qualifications:
- Trained Veterinary Technician with knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal anatomy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, dependable, and flexible
- Compassionate approach to patient care and client interactions
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Schedule:
This position is four days per week, with an occasional Saturday morning rotation.
