We're looking for a high-impact Regional Business Development Manager to grow GWE's revenue and amplify our presence across Texas by building strong client relationships, securing new accounts, and elevating market awareness. This role is ideal for a motivated on-the-road closer who thrives on creating visibility and generating demand.
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to transfer and immediately generate revenue from an existing, portable book of business within the industry and be prepared to discuss the size, composition, and typical revenue of their existing client portfolio during the interview process, subject to applicable non-compete/confidentiality agreements.
The selected candidate may be located in any of these 3 major markets: DFW Metroplex, Greater Houston, or Austin-Round Rock-San Marcos.
SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Account Management & Revenue Growth
- Develops, manages, and grows assigned accounts while driving new revenue by identifying, qualifying, and closing ideal GWE clients.
- Conducts regular in-person meetings and presentations with prospective and existing clients, including extensive weekly in-state travel and occasional out-of-state events.
- Represents GWE as a brand ambassador at industry events, trade shows, webinars, and networking functions.
Sales Process & Pipeline Management
- Oversees the full sales cycle, including prospect research, proposal development, solution presentation, and contract execution.
- Effectively utilizes Salesforce for accurate pipeline management, lead generation, route planning, documentation, and tracking of all client interactions.
- Troubleshoots sales-process issues to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Client Onboarding, Billing & Internal Coordination
- Executes comprehensive client onboarding and ensures seamless transitions from sales to service delivery.
- Establishes billing contacts and protocols, providing support to Accounts Receivable to ensure timely, accurate invoicing.
- Collaborates closely with Marketing, Operations, the Key Accounts Manager, and the Director of Business Development to align strategy and maintain a cohesive client experience.
Marketing & Business Development Support
- Supports marketing efforts by helping craft targeted email campaigns, driving attendance to GWE webinars, and coordinating private training sessions.
- Contributes to quarterly business development planning and maintains awareness of GWE service offerings, industry standards, and competitor positioning.
Compliance, Reporting & Expense Accountability
- Maintains accurate administrative records, complies with GWE’s commercial vehicle insurance requirements, and demonstrates sound judgment in all activities.
- Tracks, manages, and reports all business-related expenses in accordance with company policy.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, Finance or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years in business-to-business experience in a sales or marketing role within the insurance, engineering construction, restoration, real estate, property management or related industry. Demonstrated ability to bring an active, portable book of business to the role and experience with an engineering company is preferred. Experience in technology-based office management and office support. Requires proven multi-tasking skills, along with experience effectively prioritizing tasks and time demands in a fast-paced environment. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software. Experience with Salesforce software is preferred.
