Job Summary
GRIME-X is a growing, locally owned commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning company serving Northwest Arkansas and surrounding areas. We're looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to lead a two-person crew.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and taking pride in quality work. You'll operate a company truck, work alongside another technician, and take responsibility for completing jobs safely and efficiently.
We're a small team that values hard work, reliability, and taking care of our people. We're willing to train the right person!
Responsibilities
- Lead and work alongside one other technician to complete scheduled jobs
- Clean commercial kitchen exhaust hoods, ductwork, filters, and rooftop fans
- Operate pressure washing equipment, hand tools, and extension ladders
- Maintain company truck, tools, and equipment
- Complete job checklists, photos, and service documentation
- Ensure work meets company quality and safety standards
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work without constant supervision
- Comfortable taking the lead and working alongside another person
- Physically capable of handling extension ladders and carrying 50 lbs
- Comfortable working on rooftops and at heights
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Availability for primarily nighttime work and occasional out-of-town travel
Previous kitchen exhaust cleaning experience is not required. Experience in construction, maintenance, mechanical work, pressure washing, or other hands-on trades is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- $700–$1,000 weekly earning potential, commission-based
- 4 shifts per week, primarily Sunday–Wednesday
- Company truck, tools, equipment, and work phone provided
- Company-paid hotels for out-of-town trips requiring lodging
- $50 daily per diem for qualifying out-of-town trips

Most jobs are performed at night after restaurants and other facilities close. Exact start times vary depending on the scheduled jobs.
