Position Description
Griggs & Browne is the established leader in Termite and Pest control in Rhode Island, Southeastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod, and Connecticut. For over 100 years, Griggs & Browne has provided our neighbors with quality service at a reasonable price. Our Lakeville Branch is currently looking for two Full Time Pest Control Technicians. One will be in the Plymouth area and one will be in Nantucket/Martha's Vineyard.
Responsibilities
The candidate must demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company’s vision, mission and values and is capable of handling the following (which includes but is not limited to):
- Provide consistent customer service to our customers. Customer service is key!
- Inspect properties/businesses for evidence of pest activity
- Develop a treatment plan to remove pests from customers’ properties/businesses
- Perform work as outlined on a service order with efficiency and accuracy
- Manage and organize schedule and appointments
- Maintain work area and vehicle in a clean and orderly manner
- Maintain licenses and certifications as required
- Participate in company trainings
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Pest control license is preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate
- Prior customer service experience
- High school diploma required, valid driver’s license
- Will be subject to drug test, driving record check, and background check
- Familiarity with surrounding areas, in addition to map reading abilities
- Professional work ethic
- Ability to exercise good judgment
