Our merchandise is coming in fast, and we need it on the sales floor yesterday!
Grigg's/ACE Hardware Receiving Clerks are the unseen rockstars of our company. As a receiving clerk, you will inspect and document incoming shipments. Verify shipments against purchase orders. Ensure accuracy of inventory and prepare it for placement on the sales floor. You will receive and prepare inventory for shipping to other ACE Hardware stores.

Requirements
Solid work history that demonstrates reliability and punctuality. We will check with past employers
Warehouse work experience is a plus.
Must be able to stand for more than 8 hours a day.
Lift 40 lbs. or more regularly
Attention to detail
Basic math skills
Forklift experience is a plus!
Shift: Part-time. Workdays will be varied and include weekends, depending on seasonal demand.
Pay: $17.13 - $19.00 DOE

Duties include, but are not limited to:
- PUNCTUALITY IS A MUST!!! The workday starts at 8:00 am sharp!
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming products.
- Assist in unloading trucks and placing packages in proper order for processing.
- Check products for damage. Reporting to the Supervisor any damage that is discovered.
- Verify shipments against purchase orders, reporting to the Supervisor with errors and inconsistencies.
- Work at a well-organized and steady pace to keep work moving efficiently through the receiving and tagging departments for placement on the Sales Floor.
- Communicating with coworkers, Floor Associates, Buyers, and Management.
- Maintains a safe and secure work environment, which may include noting hazards, keeping aisles clear, and securing doors and gates
