Griffith Centers is seeking a strategic and mission-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. This role will lead the organization’s financial strategy, ensuring sustainability, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:
- Leads all financial reporting activities, including monthly updates and presentations to the President/CEO, Executive Committee, and Board of Directors.
- Manages financial statement and benefit plan audits, coordinates with CPA firm on IRS Form 990 preparation, and completes required state and regulatory filings.
- Oversees departmental and organization-wide budgets, collaborating with leadership and the Board to ensure financial health, sustainability, and alignment with strategic goals.
- Directs the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Ensures compliance with accounting standards, regulatory obligations, grant requirements, and continuously strengthens financial policies, procedures, internal controls, and reporting systems.
- Partners with leadership to coordinate and prioritize short-term and long-term organizational planning.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Accounting required.
- 10 years of experience in a similar role required.
- 5 years of proven leadership and management experience.
- Previous experience working with Medicaid, DHS and other State agency funding is a plus.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a plus.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
