Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries and selections
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits
- Upsell products and suggest complementary items to enhance customer experience
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring products are well-stocked
- Stock shelves regularly and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages
- Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, processing payments, and issuing receipts
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
- Assist in supervising store operations as needed, including supervising staff during shifts or managing daily tasks
- Maintain phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience preferred; familiarity with clothing stores is a plus
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customers effectively
- Proficiency in POS systems, cashiering, retail math, and basic math skills for transactions and inventory management
- Experience with merchandising, stocking, upselling, and product demos is desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
- Supervising experience is advantageous but not required; leadership qualities are a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
