Griffin Contracting is seeking experienced and motivated individuals to join our Asphalt Division. We are hiring for multiple positions, including Paving Foremen, Equipment Operators, Paver Operators, Screed Operators, Roller Operators, Skid Steer Operators, and General Laborers.

Responsibilities
- Perform asphalt paving on highways, roadways, streets, and commercial projects.
- Operate rollers and assist with screed operations and other paving-related equipment as required by the position.
- Assist with paving operations, including raking, shoveling, lute work, edge work, and joint matching.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
- Safely guide haul trucks into position during paving operations.
- Maintain proper mat quality, grade, and workmanship while meeting project specifications.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work efficiently with crew members to meet production goals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Foreman.
- Foremen are responsible for supervising crews, coordinating daily paving operations, maintaining production schedules, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in asphalt paving or highway/road construction is preferred.
- Experience as a Screedman, Roller Operator, Foreman, or asphalt paving crew member is preferred.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment in all weather conditions.
- Willingness to work overtime, nights, weekends, and travel when project schedules require.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to safety.
- Ability to work well with supervisors, coworkers, subcontractors, and the public.
- Valid driver's license preferred. CDL is a plus.
