What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paving Crew Members (laborers and lute man) position at Bennett Paving, Inc.?
We currently have openings and are looking to hire for the following positions on our asphalt crew
Laborers and Lute man, experience is a plus. Valid drivers license is required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: working with hot mix asphalt, raking and shoveling asphalt, ability to fill in on other position as needed, safely backing/dumping trucks into paver, loading equipment and materials on trucks, equipment set up, cleaning, inspection, routine maintenance or minor repairs. Other duties may include traffic control and setting out barricades or cones.
All positions require employees to frequently lift, stand and walk for extended periods and to guide equipment with precision.
The right candidate will be a team player who is able to complete assigned work satisfactorily.
