Responsibilities
- Operate asphalt screed machines and related heavy equipment with precision to achieve optimal surface finish and thickness.
- Adjust screed settings based on project specifications, ensuring consistent quality across the entire job site.
- Collaborate with the crew to coordinate paving operations, including loading materials and managing equipment flow.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Skills
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as asphalt screeds.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on paving machinery.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Valid driver’s for operating or transporting vehicles.
