What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse position at Griff Paper and Film?
Must be able to safely operate a forklift and maintain OSHA regulated certification
- Loading and Unloading trucks in a timely and orderly fashion
- Maintaining accurate and concise records of all inbound and outbound shipments
- Ensuring all product is labeled appropriately and accurately
- Ensuring all system transactions are done in an accurate and timely manner
- Assist in Inventory Management as Instructed by General Manager
- Assist in preparing materials for jobs
- Assist in unloading materials upon job completion
- Prepare materials for return to stock as needed
- Stock appropriate areas with packaging materials so that finished goods are packaged in a timely manner
- Assist in inspecting items to ensure quality of product is according to customers specifications
- Assist in sample cuts of Material for CSR's
- Serve as backup to Truck Driver as needed
- Maintain clean and orderly work stations
- Additional duties as assigned by management
- Advanced skillset in operation of Powered Industrial Trucks, including scissor lifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, etc.
- Ability to understand written instructions in English
- Must be able to perform material handling duties as in loading and unloading materials on machine
- Must be familiar with the company's products and be able to identify materials to know what is required for each job
- Must keep work area clean and safe and follow safety guidelines throughout plant
- Must be reliable and on-time on a regular basis
- Inspects lifting equipment at beginning and end of each shift
- Ensures material is ready and available in time for each machine and job
- Only delivers quality material to the machines or immediately reports defect to management
- Capable of reading all measuring devices required to complete job
