Grieco Automotive Group is looking for professional, positive, motivated Automotive Technicians with
A TECHS, B TECHS, C TECHS and/or GM SPECIFIC experience. If you are a self-motivated person with aspirations for success, a technician position with Grieco may be for you. Requirements/Responsibilities:
- Explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include other teammates and customers when required.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- General automobile knowledge on various manufacturers.
- Test-drive vehicles, test components and systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in-order to stay abreast with the ever rapidly changing automotive technology.
- Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
- Maintains an organized and clean service department.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Professional personal appearance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate solutions to others.
- Any other duties assigned
- Integrity, A positive Attitude and a Strong Work Ethic Required
- Willing to learn mentality
- CDK knowledge is helpful
Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Automotive Service Tech Experience Required
- ASE Certifications or equivalent certifications required
- GM tech experience Highly preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Be able to bend, stoop, kneel and lift to at least 50lbs.
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, and MVR.
