What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solar Lead Generator / Appointment Setter (Fast-Track to Closer) position at Gridlock ATL?
About Us:
We are a high-producing solar sales team operating under Sunder Energy, exclusively rolling out the new state-backed LightReach power program in Metro Atlanta. We don't sell expensive solar loans; we offer homeowners a way to lower their Georgia Power bills with zero out-of-pocket costs.
Because the program sells itself, our biggest bottleneck is simply talking to enough qualified homeowners. Our top-closing managers are looking to build a lean, aggressive team of Lead Generators (Setters) to feed my pipeline.
The Deal: You find them. We close them. We split the money. We are not looking for someone to figure this out on their own. We need reliable right-hands whose only job is to knock on targeted doors, collect the utility bill, and tee up the deal for us to close.
What You Will Actually Do:
- Knock Targeted Turf: We don't drop you in random neighborhoods. We use advanced software to target homes with high credit and high equity. You will strictly knock where the data tells us to.
- Pre-Qualify: Ask 3 simple questions at the door to make sure they are a real buyer.
- Collect the Bill: Get a picture of their Power bill and upload it to our CRM.
- The Handoff: Call me over to the house so I can sit down with the homeowner, run the math, and close the deal.
The Pay Structure: This is a high-ticket commission role. You aren't grinding for minimum wage.
- Upfront Cash: You get a $500 upfront payout the moment the deal passes site survey and credit.
- Backend Commission: You get a percentage of the final massive commission when the panels go on the roof.
- Average setters make $1,500 - $2,500 a week. Elite setters make much more.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Reliable: If you can't show up to the huddle on time, do not apply.
- Thick Skin: Door-to-door sales is not for the weak. You will get told "no." You need to be able to smile, walk to the next door, and keep your energy high.
- Coachable: Leave your ego at home. If you follow the exact script we give you and use the software correctly, you will make money. If you try to "wing it," you won't.
- Requirements: Must have a reliable vehicle, a smartphone, and the physical ability to walk neighborhoods for 4-5 hours a day.
The Growth Path: You will not be a setter forever. You will shadow closes at the kitchen table. Once you prove you can consistently generate clean, qualified leads, we will teach you the closing math and promote you to a Closer so you can take down the full $8,000 commissions yourself.
