What You'll Be Doing
- Lead programs and projects through the full lifecycle — from scoping and planning through execution, delivery, and retrospective — holding teams accountable for on-time, high-quality outcomes
- Partner with product management, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to define scope, deliverables, resource needs, and timelines; engage senior leaders and executives to build alignment and secure approvals on key milestones
- Identify and actively manage program risks, issues, and dependencies; develop and execute mitigation and contingency plans in collaboration with other TPMs
- Facilitate program meetings to drive key decisions and clear obstacles; maintain comprehensive documentation including status reports, governance materials, and leadership readouts covering risks, metrics, and decisions
- Coordinate handoffs, manage cross-program interdependencies, and drive retrospectives to embed continuous improvement into delivery practices
- Support PI Planning (for SAFe engagements) and other planning ceremonies, synthesizing outputs into actionable program materials
- Identify program budget needs and partner with portfolio management on quarterly forecasting, tracking, and reporting
What We're Looking For
- 7 years of Technical Program Management experience in a highly matrixed enterprise environment, including 3 years executing programs in a hybrid delivery model (Waterfall and Agile) using frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
- PMP certification and at least one Agile certification (Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent)
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and executives, build alignment across diverse teams, and communicate program status with clarity and confidence at all levels
- Experience establishing and maintaining program governance frameworks, including risk management, budget forecasting, and delivery reporting in a portfolio context
- Working knowledge of core HR and payroll platforms (e.g., Workday, Benefex, Equity Edge), financial systems (e.g., SPIFF, Concur), and integration technologies; ability to engage credibly with engineers and architects on data flows, system dependencies, and cross-functional technical trade-offs across payroll, equity, and financial operations
- Working knowledge of AI tools and how to apply them to drive delivery management efficiencies
- Experience supporting IT programs in the Employee Success or Finance domain
- Familiarity with portfolio management practices and tools
- Track record of building and maturing program governance frameworks from the ground up
