Description
The Warehouse Manager providesinventorycountsandsupportsthewarehouseinventoryprocess. Responsible
for organizing, receiving incoming deliveries, managing stock, and maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the warehouse.
This role ensures the availability of materials to support field crews and the project schedule.
Due to the inherently dangerous nature of the industry and requirements to work with or around hazardous equipment, employees must have sufficient eyesight to judge distance/coordination of equipment and tools, be able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods, be able to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work assignments, be able to wear personal protective equipment as necessary, be able to enter and exit a vehicle numerous times a day, have the endurance necessary to traverse various terrain, be capable of performing job duties throughout a standard 8- or 10-hour day, be able to communicate with others, read, write, and comprehend written/verbal job instructions and information, and communicate and handle conflict professionally.

- Responsibleformaintaininganaccurateinventoryofmeters,tools,uniforms,andsafetyequipment.
- Assign meters and materials to installation technicians fordaily work assignments.
- Completedataentryforincomingandoutgoing meters.
- Researchandrespondtoallmeter/AMI-relatedinquiries.
- Custodialmaintenanceofcompletewarehousefacility.
- Researchlostmeters.
- Categorize inventory and complete inventory tracking.
- Responsibleforthe timelyorderingofmetersandallproject-related supplies.
- Reviewpurchaseorderandshippingarrangement,asnecessary.
- Manage a team of warehouse staff and material handlers as needed.
- Ensure compliance withOSHAandutility-specificsafety guidelines.
- Performsadditionalrelateddutiesasassigned.
- DemonstratedproficiencywithMicrosoftOfficeSuite,advancedskillswithMicrosoft Excel.
- Abilitytolift50lbsthroughout the day.
- Strongorganizationalanddetail-orientedskills
- Knowledgeofwarehouse andinventorymanagement.
- ExperienceusingSmartsheet is preferred but notrequired.
- Allotherdutiesasrequiredorrequestedbytheleadership.
- Experienceinsupervision/logisticsorwarehousingpreferred.
- Mustbe18yearsofageorolder.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Forklift certification or CDL, a plus.
- HighSchoolDiplomaorequivalent
- PriorexperienceintheElectricand/orGasUtilityindustryis preferred.
- 3 yearsofdrivingexperiencewithminimalnon-movingviolations.
- RARE (less than 10%): Stooping, Kneeling, Squatting, Body Twisting, Crawling, Climbing On/Off a Truck, Climbing Poles, Gripping, Climbing Ladders, and Balancing.
