We are looking for a motivated and organized HR Coordinator / Recruiter to join our team with our Lincoln, RI facility. This is a hands-on role responsible for managing the full recruiting lifecycle for manufacturing and engineering positions, while also supporting day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and understands the unique challenges of hiring skilled trades and technical talent.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruiting & Talent Acquisition
• Manage end-to-end recruiting for manufacturing, skilled trades, and engineering roles — from job posting through offer acceptance.
• Source candidates through job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.), trade schools, vocational programs, and local workforce development partners.
• Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for high-volume or recurring positions.
• Coordinate pre-employment steps including background checks, drug screens, and reference checks
HR Generalist Support
• Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and first-day readiness.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Support benefits administration, open enrollment coordination, and employee inquiries.
• Assist with tracking attendance, leaves of absence, and FMLA paperwork.
• Help ensure compliance with federal and Rhode Island state employment laws.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and HR projects as assigned.
QualificationsRequired
• 1–3 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or a related role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills — comfortable engaging with both shop floor and office staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred
• Experience recruiting for manufacturing, skilled trades, or engineering roles
• Knowledge of Rhode Island employment law and I-9/E-Verify compliance
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with ADP payroll system.
