Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Finisher for residential rehab work. You will be responsible for applying finishing touches to drywall and plaster surfaces, ensuring a smooth, seamless appearance that meets high-quality standards. Your expertise will help transform our rehab projects into polished and beautiful spaces.
Responsibilities
- Apply joint compound, tape, and other finishing materials to drywall surfaces to create a flawless finish
- Sand and smooth drywall surfaces to prepare for painting or further finishing work
- Install corner beads, trims, and moldings to enhance the aesthetic appeal of walls and ceilings
- Collaborate with carpenters and other trades to coordinate project timelines and quality standards
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris removal throughout the job site
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary touch-ups to meet project specifications
Requirements
- Proven experience in drywall finishing on residential projects
- Must be able to hang, tape, and finish drywall professionally (experience with remodel work preferred)
- Detail-oriented mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Texture matching experience preferred (knockdown, orange peel, sand, etc.)
- Must have own tools, valid drivers license, and reliable vehicle
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
