Greylock Recovery is a residential substance use treatment facility committed to ethical, trauma-informed, and person-centered care. We are seeking an experienced Human Resources & Payroll Manager to oversee HR operations, payroll coordination, and compliance in a healthcare environment.
Position Overview
This role is responsible for managing the full employee lifecycle, payroll accuracy, and compliance with Massachusetts labor and employment law. The ideal candidate is highly organized, ethical, detail-oriented, and confident navigating sensitive employee matters.
Experience with Axiom HR/Payroll is strongly recommended.
Key Responsibilities
Manage onboarding, offboarding, personnel files, and HR documentation
Oversee payroll processing and timekeeping accuracy
Ensure compliance with MA and federal labor laws (wage & hour, PFMLA, FMLA, earned sick time, ADA, etc.)
Support leadership with employee relations, corrective action, and performance management
Coordinate leaves of absence, accommodations, and benefits administration
Maintain payroll systems and generate reports
Serve as a confidential, trusted HR resource for staff and leadership
Qualifications
Strong working knowledge of Massachusetts labor and employment law
Payroll and timekeeping experience
High ethical standards, discretion, and professionalism
Excellent organization and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Axiom HR/Payroll experience
Healthcare, behavioral health, or residential setting experience
Experience supporting multi-shift or 24/7 operations
