What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Engineer - Infra / Platform / Security position at Greylock Partners?
We're partnering with a stealth AI company to find an Infrastructure, Security, and Platform Engineer.
This team is building process intelligence models trained with reinforcement learning to capture and execute the knowledge work of large enterprises. The long-term vision is bold: end-to-end enterprise emulation software that learns how humans work and does it for them.
The team is under 10 people, moving fast, and based in San Francisco onsite.

Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or security engineering
- Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Proficiency with containerized workloads and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
- Solid understanding of network security, access controls, and secrets management
- Familiarity with observability tooling: logging, metrics, and alerting at scale
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at an early-stage startup (sub-20 person team)
- Familiarity with ML infrastructure or AI workloads
- Security certifications or experience with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
