What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Applied Scientist (DS/ML) position at Greylock Partners?
Summary:
Mid-stage investment with offices in SF and NYC is looking to hire a Founding Applied Scientist (30% DS / 70% ML) with 6 years industry experience and a strong background in statistical analysis, text understanding, ER, NLP, search, and LLM's. Must be able to own the full ML pipeline, so proficiency in Python is required. Ideal candidate will have started career in DS and then moved into ML afterward. Previous startup or team lead exp strongly valued.
