What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Research Engineer (NLP/LLM) position at Greylock Partners?
Summary:
Early-stage company looking to hire a staff-level applied research scientist with a strong background in NLP and Deep Learning.
Qualifications:
- 5 years industry experience in NLP, Deep Learning with a strong academic foundation (PhD in Computer Science or related field preferred)
- Solid understanding of gradient-based methods in deep learning (GANS, LSTM, CNN, GNN, Transformers, etc.)
- Excellent coding skills and hands-on exp with modern ML frameworks
- Familiarity with large-scale clusters and/or parallel processing environments is a plus
- Prior startup experience and/or working remotely is a plus
