WHOLESALE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Fun, Women’s designer clothing company seeks a positive, upbeat, and driven sales professional to aggressively grow territory sales while building lasting client relationships.

The ideal candidate possesses strong sales, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. They should be comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment, managing resources effectively, and meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals. Relationship building is key to success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain, and grow relationships with major wholesale accounts
  • Communicate daily with accounts to review existing business opportunities and drive sales growth
  • Generate new business through cold calling, outreach, and territory research
  • Track and record sales metrics throughout the sales process
  • Meet and exceed financial and territory sales goals
  • Advise accounts on immediate goods availability and manage sell-through opportunities and substitutions
  • Implement strategic sales initiatives to grow assigned territories
  • Schedule and travel to market appointments and regional trade shows (minimum 6 times annually - typically 5 days per market.)
  • Ensure orders are processed and shipped completely and efficiently
  • Collaborate with team members in a busy office environment while maintaining strong independent workflow

Qualifications:

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Positive, upbeat personality with a relationship-focused mindset
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities
  • Independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Comfortable with cold outreach and account development
  • Team player with a strong work ethic
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
  • Computer savvy; familiarity with A2000 is a plus (training provided)
  • Ability to type 50 WPM
  • Ability to travel to assigned regional markets

Details:

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Work later if necessary
  • Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience bonus opportunities for go-getters
  • Location: Pelham, NY (walking distance to Pelham train station)
  • Position Type: Strictly in-house
