Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments and cleanings
- Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and biomimetic principles
- Take and interpret dental radiographs as needed
- Assist in developing individualized periodontal care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Support a calm and welcoming patient experience
- Collaborate closely with the dentist to ensure continuity of care
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in Alaska
- Strong understanding of periodontal therapy and preventive care
- Interest in or familiarity with biomimetic dentistry (preferred, not required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Gentle, patient-focused clinical approach
- Ability to work independently in a small team setting with an emphasis on patient education
- Supportive, low-stress work environment
- Focus on quality care with ample time for each patient
- Flexible scheduling (1–2 days per week)
