We're looking for a seasoned Business Development Manager to grow our footprint across Alaska's oil and gas industry. About the Role
This is a high-impact, relationship-driven position responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities across Alaska's upstream, midstream, and downstream energy markets. You'll work directly with operators, service companies, Native corporations, and state and federal stakeholders to advance strategic partnerships and close deals.

What You'll Do
▸ Develop and execute BD strategies tailored to Alaska's unique oil and gas landscape
▸ Build and maintain relationships with North Slope operators, Cook Inlet producers, and TAPS stakeholders
▸ Identify, qualify, and close new client opportunities — from E&P operators to pipeline and service companies
▸ Lead proposal development, contract negotiations, and deal structuring
▸ Engage Alaska Native corporations as strategic partners under ANCSA frameworks
▸ Monitor regulatory developments, lease sales, and state/federal energy policy
▸ Represent the company at AOGA, ASIA, and other industry forums
▸ Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, legal, and finance to move deals through close
▸ Maintain an active opportunity pipeline and report progress to senior leadership

What We're Looking For
✔ 8 years of business development or enterprise sales experience within Alaska's oil and gas industry
✔ Deep knowledge of Alaska's energy infrastructure — North Slope, Cook Inlet, TAPS, Kenai Peninsula
✔ Established relationships with major Alaska operators (ConocoPhillips, Hilcorp, and others)
✔ Familiarity with AOGCC regulations, DNR lease processes, and federal permitting (BLM, BOEM)
✔ Understanding of ANCSA and experience working with Alaska Native corporations
✔ Track record of closing multi-million dollar contracts or strategic partnerships
✔ Willingness to travel within Alaska, including to remote field locations
✔ Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

→ Experience with LNG or emerging Alaska energy projects (AKLNG, Arctic offshore)
→ Familiarity with Alaska's production tax structures (ACES, SB21)

→ Active membership in AOGA, ASIA, or similar organizations
