Host Drakes Danville

Mint Julep Restaurant Management Group is looking for friendly, energetic and outgoing Hosts for our Drake's restaurant.

As Host, this position will be the first point of contact for our guests. Hosts will greet, seat and provide menus to the guests in a friendly, professional and quick manner. Other duties include answering incoming calls and directing to the appropriate person – utilize and maintain the wait sheet and control flow and seating in available sections of the restaurant to ensure prompt service to our guests – advise guests of wait times, if any. 

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests coming in and as they leave to ensure a positive dining experience
• Take guest’s information and quote wait times wen tables are not immediately available
• Observe tables and keep track of which ones are clean, dirty, and occupied
• Clean, organize, and stock menus at the host stand
• Answer phone calls concerning the menu and restaurant
• Keep back of the house staff informed of traffic flow into the restaurant
